  • Bus Route/Snow Plan 2014-2015

  • Voluntary Student Accident Medical Coverage

    Nationwide Life, serviced by K&K Insurance Group, Inc., is Burgin School's provider for voluntary student accident medical coverage for the 2014/15 school year.

    Parents may view the options for student accident coverage by clicking on one of the links below:

    Online enrollment will begin November 7th on the K&K Student Website: www.studentinsurance-kk.com

  • Preventive Dentistry at School

    During the week of November 17th through November 21st, the Jessamine County Health Department will be at Burgin Independent conducting dental screenings for our students.

    With parent's permission, a dental hygienist will provide qualifying children with: a dental assessment, age-appropriate dental cleaning, fluoride varnish, dental sealants, oral hygiene instruction, and a referral sheet for community dentists (if necessary.)

    Students will be receiving an information packet on Wednesday, November 5th. Please fill out the registration and consent form and return it to the front office by Thursday, November 13th in order for your child to receive services.

  • Burgin School District is a Proficient, High Progress District!!

    Results of the state accountability KPREP assessment, administered in the spring of 2013, show great progress for Burgin Independent Schools. The district ranked in the 83rd percentile among Kentucky schools. Further, Burgin Independent School District earned the classification of Proficient/Progressing, as well as earning the distinction of being a High Progress District.

    Congratulations to the students, parents, staff, and community for this great achievement. Your hard work and diligence has helped prepare our students for SUCCESS!
